Life Saver

B.R.A.I.N.S Technique™ has been a life saver for me. I use it in a lot of situations. Calmed Chaos Admist Car Accident

I was driving my friend’s car when I was suddenly T-boned in an intersection when a car didn’t stop at a red light. I was violently shaking and could feel the adrenaline coursing through my body. A woman ran to my car door, assessed if I was hurt, and helped me out of the car and we called 911. As we waited she took me over to the curb and asked me to sit down. All I could say and think about was “this was my friend’s car, I just dropped her at the airport and she is going to kill me.” While pacing, I told her I can’t sit down because I am shaking too badly. She said, “I have something that I think can help.” For some reason I trusted her and sat down. She asked if she could tap on my legs and I said yes. She started asking me questions about the accident, what I saw, felt, heard, smell, and tasted. I didn’t realize what she was doing then, but she was helping me to process out loud, what had just happened. After about 5 minutes or so, my whole body stopped shaking. I looked at her and took a deep breath and told her I felt better. And then, it just came to me, as clear as day, the insurance company will take care of the damages, and my friend will be grateful I am alive and ok. It was the most profound experience in the midst of what could have been a huge long lasting mental/emotional trauma. Lowering Anxiety

I had been experiencing anxiety and sleeplessness due to long standing intense stress.  After an informative discussion about tapping with Whitney, I then had a 15-minute session and experienced the benefit in real time. Forever grateful

Intense argument

I had an intense argument with my husband one evening, which we resolved the next morning. Shortly after we apologized to each other and resolved the conflict, I developed a sore throat. That day I had to drive a long time in bad traffic on an errand, and was also exhausted and stressed about an upcoming event that I could not cancel. After I got home and watched the video, I tapped for about 5 minutes while laying on my bed in the “butterfly” position, and fell asleep unexpectedly. I slept like a rock for 2 hours. When I awoke, the pain had diminished significantly and was more a “discomfort”. I hawked up a huge glob of mucus and felt peaceful for the rest of the evening.

Amazed

This is such a lovely, gentle technique that is easy to use and gives immediate benefit much of the time. Thank you Whitney! Very good results. I felt the negative thoughts disappearing and not even being able to be conjured up. The ability to see the unconscious root of shame. To use my emotional clearing tools to move through the experience fully and feel inspired for action after.I felt my whole body relax, my shoulders dropped, my breathing slowed, I felt more confident about dealing with the stressful situation. I was relaxed enough to ask what is it I’m even stressed about right now. That rarely happens. I’m trying not to overthink it and let it stay clear and out of my mind. Both my husband and I did it at different times. Noticed a big downgrade in stress, symptoms, anxiety, etc. The symptoms were there and then seemed to go away. I felt confident that I was taking an action to support myself and I thought of another action that might help as I calmed. Gave tools to deal with the current situation – Listen, ask questions-gather facts. Noticed movement sounds in my gut…which for me is a sign of relaxing and parasympathetic. Its amazing how things move and shift during the sessions. It was interesting to observe how the thoughts slowed down until eventually there was a lot of space between the thoughts. This is a brilliant process!!

Process works

When Whitney introduced me to the B.R.A.I.N.S. Technique several months ago, I found it hard to believe that in just a few minutes, such a simple technique could really shift me from feeling triggered to feeling neutral or even positive; yet it’s happened. A few weeks ago, over two days, I had a severe recurring nose bleed from intense mental pressure and anxiety I’d been experiencing over a couple of issues. On day three, after just 3-4 minutes of doing the B.R.A.I.N.S. Technique, I experienced a huge physical release in my nasal passages with the nosebleed being resolved, along with reduced anxiety, and the ability to think of multiple options to solve these issues that were better than the limited solutions I’d thought of from my previous triggered state. This amazing and easy process works!

WOW!

When I began this process I felt like I was just tapping rapidly for a bit then all of a sudden I was calmer and started to slow down and notice my surrounding sounds since I was out back listening to the birds and nature. Then I asked myself what is it you’re even stressed about right now and there was nothing. Just a feeling of calm like it was ok and don’t worry about it right now. That alone is a relief…my brain quiet with no heavy thoughts. Like a big giant much needed sigh of relief for my brain. I’ll continue to utilize this method. Just wow!

Stressed and Anxious

I was stressed and anxious about my daughters baptism and hosting the reception afterwards (hosting is very “triggering” for me). I woke up in the middle of the night in a highly alert mental state, and could not fall back to sleep. After a while of tossing and turning I tried tapping for about 3 minutes. Soon after I started, I got very bored and wanted to stop – but kept tapping for another minute until suddenly, I felt a shiver run through my whole body. My body felt like a heavy, relaxed weight. I fell asleep almost immediately. The next day, preparations went smoothly, and it was fun hosting – for the first time in my life. I think I cleared a track.

Anxiety attack averted

I was listened to something informative that suddenly triggered anxiety in me. I tend to go into fight, flight or freeze, but this time I remembered the BLS. In the moment, all I could remember was the thighs, so that’s where I tapped. After about 3 minutes, feeling considerably calmer, I stopped and went to the kitchen for a glass of water and a couple of deep breaths. I am prone to anxiety attacks and it’s great to have a simple and ready tool in my tool belt in those unexpected moments.

Ease is found

Was very hopeful and encouraging to do something quick and easy to downgrade symptoms and state of being. Helped lessen the anxiety, fear, stress, and was then in a more relaxed state to think clearly and not be so focused on the symptoms. Brought a sense of ease. Really helped with bringing safety to feel what needed to be felt and to process through what was at hand.

No longer a victim

I want to add info about my experience with B.R.A.I.N.S. Technique™this morning. My thoughts regarding my hurtful experiences with my family have changed dramatically. In the past when reflecting on them I would always cry and couldn’t escape the feeling of victim hood. I was very hurt by them. It was impossible rise above what my family did. When I completed the session my feelings, thoughts and emotions were neutral. Now, later in the day they still are! My thoughts on the entire situation are changing! I am no longer feeling like a victim. Instead, a deep healing is taking place. It is amazing!
